I told you in an earlier thread about my "little summer project". I've been working on some old military trucks for my son-in-law. We took the M35A2 for it's first extended drive in over 30 years yesterday.

This is actually 3 videos combined into one. First, the trees that grew up around the truck before we started working on it, next, the day we drove the truck out of the trees and finally, the drive down the county road by the farm yesterday.

I've had a blast and learned a lot as I worked on these trucks this summer. My time to work on them is just about over. Time to get back to our other life. I'm gonna miss them!

Rick - it is definitely a heavy smoker! Talked to a family member who used to drive it on the farm and he said it was always that way.

John - Whistler? I've read about them but never met one in person. Someday maybe . . .

Whistler Turbo and Striped Whistler are two different things. The 2nd mentioned is a Ole Farmer boy in Striped overalls that comes in and asks: "How much do dat ting cost"? You answer and he goes "whistle"!!!!! Cool John
