Is because I have a speedometer drive gear that is for the lower geared CJ5 axles. I need a 15 tooth count speedometer drive gear (the thing the speedometer cable feeds into on the transfer case) for my M38A1. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Have you tried John at midwestmilitary.net?He lists 14 pages of M38A1 parts.Also says he has takeoff and other new parts availiable.Just a thought.
