I'm wondering where Rockauto gets their parts.
I repaired a Nissan pickup with front end
damage a few years ago. I ordered many parts
from Rockauto. All of the parts were aftermarket,
and things like the fender had to be fiddled with.

They did work, and the price was cheaper than any
other supplier, but I'd bet they were offshore.

My money is Rockauto would send you Omix Ada parts
unless you are able to determine otherwise.

Just my two cents.

Did you look at Hawkshadow's link? https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/jeep,1952,willys,2.2l+134cid+l4,1421020,brake+&+wheel+hub,wheel+cylinder+repair+kit,1956[/url]

Something in that list of options must be US built. I am guessing Raybestos or AC/Delco maybe.

But I would rather see a Federal Mogul unit.

Ive done some searching for the Federal/ Wagner number. On Wagner's site, they show FD 16535 as a Napa manufactured part that they number WC16535. Searching the WC number returns a Raybestos cylinder under the same number. Rock auto carries both the Wagner and Raybestos under the same part number.
Wagner:
http://www.wagnerbrake.com/find-my-part/part-number-results.html?part=16535

Napa:
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/UBP16535_0482215498

Rockauto:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearch/?partnum=WC16535

The kicker is that searching the number, the NAPA, Wagner, and Raybestos returns all use the same pictures! So who knows who is actually making that part. The biggest concern is that none of the pictures show the end of the piston to confirm that it is notched to meet the brake pad. Wes, have you seen these before and should they be?

I have yet to find anything under that Bendix number.

Any thoughts on what the difference between the CJ3 returns on the Rockauto vehicle search and the WC16535 would be? Will they fit and function? I'm not sure what part KaiserWillys would have sent with my master kit that I installed originally. Perhaps the OMIX part that comes back on Rockauto?

Can't help with the CJ3A cylinders. I only owned one CJ3A back in 1987 and then only for a year.

You should be able to get an answer on the source of the Wagner & Raybestos cylinders by inquiring at your NAPA dealer. I normally deal with Carquest locally and that dealer always advises me what he has and where they came from.

I finally came across the bellcrank part in question in one of the boxes! The death wobble kept creeping back in over time. I put the part back in at the beginning of the season in June and there hasn't been a single wobble since.

It's hard to tell, but it definitely said National and what looks like a part number of maybe 80351 or something similar...

It doesn't appear to be in the pam, but fits perfectly and makes a huge difference so whoever thought of it was definitely on to something.
