Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me if there is a 12v horn available that sounds close to the original 24v one? I remember seeing the "roadrunner" beep beep horn in JC Whitney years ago, but how close is the sound with these?

As always, thanks for the info! I have a friend looking for one.

The Mil Spec for the GI horn was MS51074E and was written for both 12 & 24 V.

DeBella has NOS 12 volter's for $65.

Thanks for your help, guys! I contacted Peter D directly, and the item was found in the Odds & Ends section (couldn't find it on my own). I might be back if I can't get this ordered part installed..! Shocked

Welcome to the site Daniel! I was wondering when you would get here. Dont hesitate to ask anything here - just make sure to make a concerted effort to search for the answer beforehand, a most questions have been asked before (many times).

I picked up one of these horns for my 12v system (I think it was from the vendor Wes mentioned). Works great and has 100% jeep sound. Only difference from the 24v horn on the jeep was the electrical connections on the horn body, but they are easy to adapt.
