I've just been under the jeep and noticed something for the first time.
The rear front spring hanger brkts. seem nipped in at the spring. ie it is narrower at the spring than it is where it is rivited onto the chassis.
All the others seem to have parallel sides and are the same width (or close enough) at the spring as they are at the chassis.

Is this correct or is this abuse??
Thanks,
Dave.

Dave,

Sounds like abuse to me? Mine are all straight and your other three are also.

That is what I would say.

Do you have a photo?
