If you are a factory resto M38 before sn MC53331 then you need the plastic units. I hear Willys acres has them in Canada.

For the glass units occasionally each of the biger vendors will have them but usually you'll have to settle for the late units with Packard rubber connectors and you'll just have to convert their pig tails to Douglas metal connectors.

I purchased some from our usual sources- wouldn't name them. Had trouble ! so I found out some Civy Trucks use 24v (28v) units. so I found a supplier who could get them and I bought 2. (about same price as our sources) Naturally they dont have the right connectors for and M38. so I bought the right civy connectors from the same store and cut off the metal ones and sodered my new ones to my new wiring in each headlight. No one will never know- if your that kind of die hard pro who wants his jeep that original - o.k. I understand.
But now I get "fresh" headlights. jim

I have fresh Wagner bulbs with metal shell connectors on the correct wires. Not surplus.
