I have forgotten which way the 'metal tent - defuser' goes on the carb to manifold insulator/gasket. Pp 154 c. installation (1) TM 9-8012 doesn't mention it.

The Metal V won't fit inside the throttle body of the carb!

How effective is this device at smoothing the idle characteristics? I ask because I don't have one installed.

Is that gasket with the metal needed/will work on the F-134 engine?

no diffuser on f head engine, and no it wont work the mounting base is wider for the f head intake
