Not quite sure of the origin of mine. Body and axles are from a 1952 M38A1, no idea if it is army or USMC, but the TP 25 markings were in white, so I assume army. Frame is from a donor M38A1 from a junkyard, rebuilt engine I was assured was "era and more or less date correct". Engine assortments like the Cuny oil filter point to an early M38A1, but I really have no idea. _________________ 1952 M38A1

FWIW, I have a 1953 M38A1 that apparently went USMC in the late 50's. I found my apparent USMC hood number had been stenciled onto all five wheels. I wondered what that number was until the USMC history was revealed. I thank Wes for helping me connect the dots.
