Dan, The past year you have told us many times that your A1 was your only ride and you also described the many issues that occurred to you on trips from Penn to NY and Maryland with the A1.

NDT's and NDCC's are the worse possible choice for driving hard top roads when the possibility for rains, sleet and snow exists or when a lot of loose sand is on the road surface from sanding operations.

Sure if you feel comfortable on clean dry roads at prudent speeds with NDT's and NDCC's then go for it. By the way, why are you using NDT's? The M38 and M38A1 series specs called for NDCC's.

I honestly don't know is they are NDTs or NDCCs. I bought them early on, as when I first acquired the M38A1 all I knew to go through was Kaiser-Willy's, and they recommend either. I have had constant problems. Thanks in no small part to this forum, I've managed to overcome them, replacing or having rebuilt almost every part of my vehicle in the almost 3 year process. I also sold my daily driver and used the money to buy the M38A1. It ended up costing so much, the M38A1 was the only vehicle I had the finances to own. I moved from Texas to Philly in the process, and with the advice on this board, I realized I would need a winter vehicle. I now have an Isuzu truck, the M38A1, and a motorcycle. I don't need it as a daily driver anymore, and my priorities on it have changed.

Alright, double checked, They are NDCCs. The shoulders are round, not flat.
