Over the years I have just used a standard open 9/16 wrench to remove the bolt that holds the carb to the intake manifold that is next to the valve cover.
It is a slow process and I was wondering if any has a special wrench for this purpose since it is so hard to make sure its nice and tight?
I would think a short throw 9/16" box end distributor wrench would work. _________________ Wes K

There are some S-shaped and stubby wrenches available that work well on those odd position nuts and bolts.
A mechanic friend of mine says he has over $100,000 invested in hand tools just to be able to work on todays cars. Always glad I can work on my jeeps with a basic set of tools from Sears if needed.
