Hi everyone!
There are many holes in the firewall of the M38. Which of such holes are the correct ones for the passing of the wires to the distributor (#12), temperature sending unit (#33) and oil pressure sending unit (#36)?
Thanks.

On early firewall the battery drain hose hole #3 is outboard of the toeboard gusset.

On the late firewall the battery drain hose hole #5 is on the inboard side of the toeboard gusset.

Wes, thank you for the pictures.
My M38's firewall is the late model. I've searched for the correct holes in the picture for the wires that go to the distributor, temperature sending unit and oil pressure sending unit, but none of the holes specify clearly such information. Would be correct to use the hole #11 as a passage for them?

Ignition is wire # 12. Regulator Harness is wire # 8, 9 & 10. I know the #33 wire for the temp gauge comes out through 11 but I am not 100 % sure about wire #36 for the oil pressure. None of the manuals show it clearly and at least one shows the wire coming from the passenger side and one shows it from the driver's side but the views are so small and the section shown is very incomplete.
