Can anyone tell me this size the the brass elbows for the fuel and vent lines on a YS637 carb. Trying to find these at Autozone, OReilly, etc. is a real adventure. If it's not in a blister pack on a rack, forget it. I'm going to try Fastenal, but I need the dimensions. The fuel line is 1/4" as is the vent line. Again, thanks in advance.

IF IRC the fuel is 1/4 and the vent is 3/16 what you want is inverted flair 3/16 x 1/8 pipe 90 degree and 1/4 inverted flair x 1/8 pipe 90 degree I hand to take a die to the end of the 3/16 x 1/8 pipe to make it fit in the carb If you go on this site under fording it will tell you all the fittings you'll need Carquest has most of all the fittings and the are not cheap
You determine what type fittings are on the line or tube assembly and adapt them to the threaded hole in the carb. The 1st half of your question was already answered for you in your last post for the vent line. 3/16" tubing with 3/16" inverted flare nuts.
The fuel pump to carb tube is 1/4" OD using 1/4" inverted flare nuts. Make sure you have the correct adapter nut and strainer installed in the carb inlet before you start selecting the 1/4" inverted flare to pipe thread adapter.

Many of these parts are common plumbing supply parts - try your nearest well-stocked hardware store. They are usually found in bulk bins in the plumbing dept. Oh, and the reason you have a hard time finding these parts at an auto supply store, its because its an auto supply store. Plumbing supply - that's the key for plumbing parts. _________________ 1951 M38
