I am looking for an M38 steering box in good shape. Preferably with a quality worm gear and sector shaft. It doesn't need to be rebuilt.

Based on the steering box casting number my M38 has an M38A1 steering box (to be more exact it is a service spare) so I have that to trade/sell if anyone is interested. The worm gear and sector shaft have modest wear.

Let me look and see if I saved the extra I had when I sold the jeep. Not sure how much shipping will be though

RickC, thanks for the reply. I was able to track down the worm gear, sector shaft and box all NOS with the help of John at Midwest Military.
