That part does not exist on my MC51986 1-52. Don't see it in any books , TM's or ORD9. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

Is that piece perfectly flat, or is there anything different on the back side? |
Flat on both sides. Originally I thought I may be a heat shield. |

Nice detective work!! Notice that excluded are mc51887-51989
which use the new bell housing, starter and genny for the late style
fording system. My Jeep being mc51986. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

Glad to see this conversation as I have one of those hanging in my building
This same part came off my 52 m-38 in the process of restoring and I couldn't remember where it went. I also have a couple other parts I will try to photo and let someone figure out where they went cause I know they came off during the tear down and I cant figure out where they go back.
I guess hindsight is 20-20 and I should have taken a lot more pictures before I tore the jeep down! |
