Thanks guys for all the feedback, right now leaning towards Hillbillys stuff he uses, that way I can match the inside to the outside plus he says its not that rough.

Another question, from the factory when these jeeps were painted the OD was everything underneath painted same color? Mine is definetly green underneath but just wanted to be sure. It has had a couple of colors on top of the OD. Also was anything painted black?

Martin, Google " M38 paint colors www.willysmjeeps.com " you'll get many answers to your question on those Mjeeps pages.

Keep in mind that bodies and front sheet metal were painted at Willys before they went on the frames. The frames were painted by the frame manufacturer with satin black and no primer and usually left Willys still mostly black.

Check with linex for a compare. Mine doesn't have any texture to it. It looks that way because the texture is applied as a second coat. I didn't have them apply the texture, just the base linex.
