Hello All,
My M38 project is moving along. I'm now working on the fuel tank. It's in pretty decent shape however as you can see it's missing the filler neck. I bought the jeep in parts so I have no idea why it's missing. Looks like it was unsoldered ? I'm hoping someone might have a a filler neck and filler tube from a tank that is not salvageable they would be willing to part with for a reasonable fee? Or is there a source for tank parts ?

I reckon they were doing some sort of repair and never got back to it.

I think I could make the tube and mounting flange but the top flange the cap locks into is a problem without donor parts.

I have a complete (less cap and extension tube), very nice tank to sell.
was an NOS replacement at one time...very good shape.
if interested, need a photo...whatever...send me a note.
I can deliver to Aberdeen in May...
