I have a couple M38 horns that do not sound. Is there a repair manual or wiring diagram available for the interior of the horn. Both seem in really good condition, but just do not sound. Any help?

Dan

Dan,
Folks with the courage to tackle 24 volt electrics need at least three special manuals:

TM 9-1825B Nov 52 Autolite Electrical Components
TM 9-8627 Jun 53 Delco Electrical Components
TM 9-1825E Aug 52 Bendix-Scintilla Electrical Equipment (Harness & lite switches)

You can download the 6 pages devoted to autolite horns from my photo album: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?set_albumName=album173&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php

I tore mine down a year or so ago to replace the wires. Seems like it was pretty simple, although I don't remember the specifics - tear one apart and play with it! I have some pics of the insides on my blog, but don't have a link handy (in on my phone).
