Is this a M38 frame? I know the handle is missing. Do you think its worth messing with for $30?
Thanks

Only 1 frame? You'll know if It's for M-38 as theres an obvious left and rt
profile due to the angle bent at the lower portion to follow the tub.
From foto #1 it appears to lay flat (the A-1 frames are flat).
Due to use patterns I think there are more pass
side than driver side frames out there. Good luck finding a single
frame opposite to match down the road. (Me, I'd wait for a set of 2)

Ya I think you may be right Rick, good eye.
I was in the mind set of getting the one and just fabricating a mirrored copy of it for the other side. I don't want to end up with something of no use to me though. I may be wrong but the few I have seen in pictures don't have a hinge point on the top like this one has.

Let me ask, I have been offered a door set and have been told they are M38. These are non-foldable but look like they would work. What you guys think, fit a M38?

I dunno Man, they look like they're layin flat like an A1 or CJ5 frame.
Can you confirm they they have the bend at bottom to match the tub
angle on the 38?? Good price??

They are from a user 'Kendall' from another site, might be the same Kendall here.
The price is decent, but no they are a few states away.

You weren't interested in the folding type anyway. From here it looks
like these will serve your needs. Anybody else got an opinion or insight??

And a few more.
Top hinge needs some attention.

Got the frames ready to go and be covered. I had to replace missing upper hinge points and the upper pins on the frames.

Quality parts from John @ Midwest Military.

Plus a tasty treat. Very Happy
