About the leaf springs!! When counting total number of leaves in the assembly, do you count the shortest piece of flat bar also? _________________ Tropical Veteran

You count all leaves from the top main to the last on which sits on the square plate with the U bolts in it. You do not count the square plate with the u bolts. _________________ Wes K

Ok Wes, that is what I was thinking. The short piece of flat metal isn't exactly flat, It does have curvature in it to coincide with the others. I am going to disassemble the spring assemblies and hopefully clean them up for painting. _________________ Tropical Veteran

How does one determine if springs need re-arching? Do they have to be mounted on the frame with a load on them? _________________ Tropical Veteran
