A coworker of mine once owned a M38A1 and sold it to Willys Acres but still has some new parts he never installed on it.
Currently I only know of brakes that he has handed over to me until he digs through to find more stuff.
so are M38A1 brake parts interchangeable with the M38? Are drums, calipers, shoes, ebrake drum and shoes all usable items for my M38 project?
I likely will be asking about more items once he gets them pulled out.
Thanks
Brad

Brad,

The brakes are not the same.

You should go to our downloads page and download both the M38 & M38A1 ORD 9 parts manuals. Then for questions like this one you only need to open the parts book and compare part numbers and part descriptions.
