I am new to this site and have already gained much info from the site that has helped me with my M38. I have been working on my M38 for 5 years slowly plodding along but always moving forward. Like many of you I did not find an M38 in good shape. Mine had under gone a transformation to a civilian type vehicle with no battery box on the cowling and the tail gate cut and welded to back. Severe rust issues, bad engine and transmission but it has an original tub that was restorable. I have assembled my M38 for the first time last week and am happy with the results but there still needs some lining up of the body parts to do. So I am coming down to issues of detail. One of many issues I have are things like what are the bolt pattern dimensions on the passenger rear quarter panel. Four holes I presume to mount something. I have all the books but have not seen any dimensions. If someone knows which book has this could they please let me know.

Thanks
Richard

Hello and welcome. Wes photo album is one of the best places to look, many of the dimensions are shown there for important holes. If you mean on the side behind the wheel well then it was an alternate mounting spot for the spare tire.
Also where abouts in Ontario are you? there are two of us down here in the turkey point area.
