I am glad to announce that there will be a reunion on May 29/30/31 2009
in the Mpls / StPaul Minnesota area. My cohorts Jim & Kristi Rorah at
Northstar Willys , Steve Hofer(Parts Mgr) at Park Jeep, and myself Louie Larson are undertaking this event. We are doing this event with the blessing of the Willys Reunion staff. We will keep you posted on this web site as things develop.
So far; Site location: Farmington Minn county fairgrounds. A huge area with multi buildings. We will be in a large area of closely mowed grass. This event is being held in conjunction with another national event. Known as "Mopars in the Park". This is there 25th anniversery event. Their event info will be included in you registration pkg. They had 650 Mopars at there
event there last year. Our area for both Jeep display and parts swappers will be segerated from the Mopar's. You will be about 20 miles south from the "Mall of America"
We have made arrangements for a host hotel close to the Mall. 20% discount at a huge water park. Transportation to the Mall on the hour, and to "Valley Fair" and local casino's. In order to keep your cost down there will be no banquet at this event. However, Steve at Park Jeep will be the
chef at a barbaque Sat afternoon at a very modest cost. You will be able to camp with tents, campers , etc at the fair grds at no extra charge. You will also be able to "tailgate" your meals Hookups available. 24hr security.
I am cooking up something for the Newgren and Monroe owners to do besides telling lies about how they work.
