I thought it would be great to hear from other Willys owners / MV owners about the great FOR SALE phrases you have come across or even seen the vehicles in person and its not quite the way it was labeled as....
for example...
FOR SALE: 1941 WC-21...... "Easy Restoration"... only needs rear bed and tail gate, complete!...
Really?... come on anyone who has restored, refurbished, owns, operates an MV knows that is sooo far from the truth.
Another that has got my goat personally twice in my life...
"Ran when parked 3 years ago. will not turn over now.. possibly from sitting..." & "have not tried to fix it, just do not have the time...." <---what the guy actually meant... I locked the engine up and I want to pass it on to someone else... <--this was the deal with my 44' MB. BUT, I did learn alot from this.
NOW... only rule for the posting... be nice... no name calling, pointing fingers... just post the great phrases you have encountered and of course add what you found out later...
This should be fun!
Whats the Best Jeep for sale line you have read or heard?

Restored like new!
Turned out to be built from the year 1942 - 1952, originaly a 24 volt system converted to 12 volt because it is a better system than the 24 volt system.
(it came with a "bubba" built spring lift, mis-matched body panels from various years.
Three different types of rims and checker plate for the floor.
Electric wipers and custom steering wheel and front seats.)
However it was painted green!
Remember the first line!
