We got all of .08 inch this last week in Snook area. Much more I'm thinking of quiting on the jeeps and building an ark.

I saw where San Antonio may have got some. Yesterday our area got a good drench. I guess it's over for awhile now. Tropical storms should start cranking up real soon I'm thinking.

I washed both our vehicles on sunday and it rained on tuesday. Maybe if we all go wash our cars at the same time we can create a flood. Of course at this point a flood would be anything over 1 inch of rain.

The east side of San Antonio got a good soaking Tuesday evening and we got about .75" in Seguin. It won't be enough to tide us over till the "real" rains comes in the fall but it was muchly appreciated. Was a ton of money lost around here on corn seed and fertilizer....and I'm sure if you're one of those guys who feed the deer corn you'll see a big jump in the price.....but what the heck....its just money and you darn sure can't take any of it with you. And in keeping with the traditional of whining about being hung with a new rope.....now I'll probably have to mow the grass.....jeeeez.

We got about .5" on Tuesday. Boerne got more. Lots of heavy rain passed to our north and east. (We're half way between SA & Boerne) A good follow-up rain to keep the soil wet for a few more days would do wonders.

Getting some sprinkles here in southern Afghanistan after having not seen a dark cloud in the sky for 4 months. Fall is finally rolling in.

Kandahar, Helamand or Farah? Although the times I was there, Paktika and Paktia and Zabul were always fairly dry to.
