I am trying metal shot in my cabinet, I really like it, the cutting power isn't there but it doesn't break down and there is no dust, it also leaves a much nicer surface for the parts where that matters. I also have a blasting pot now and have started the frame, the thing stops up so easily though, anyone have some tips on keeping an old syphon pot going?

Still working away at the frame, I have it about half done and just got more sand and paint so if it gets to a temperature where your brain doesn't fry I will get more done.
I was digging through one of the parts boxes I got last year and found this nice kit
Image
also have some mystery parts hopefully someone knows what they are, my parts manuals don't have the numbers from the boxes listed.
Image
the brown box says 2-640545 oils seal group 36-02C and is from willy's in Toledo. The two brass ones are from the red and blue jeep box and the black one is metal on the outside with a rubber coating and a rubber lip with spring on the inside it was just loose in the larger box.
Any hints to what this stuff is would be appreciated.

Thanks Wes. found a couple more parts one is in the list as bearing, ball, clutch release so that sounds like a good one to have, the other is I think the PCV but the part number is illegible on it and there is no box.

Those can still be had new. I would rather go with new for the PCV.

Well things have been going slow but I went to the local auction on Thursday and bought a box lot for $5 just because I saw a valve spring compressor of the right type. Dug into it finally today and hit the jackpot, there was also a piston ring sleeve, ring groove cleaner, a drum brake caliper graded in .030, a cylinder hone, a 36in long pipe wrench, a smaller 24in long pipe wrench, along with other assorted non automotive tools. I was just amazed nobody bid against me for it since I made out like a bandit. I know I am bragging have to about something since the jeep is coming so slow

Wow, over a year since I put anything in my build log. Things have been very stagnant, just no money for anything. We are likely moving soon and I am not sure if I will have the space for her anymore.
