M38 made on date by serial number.

I'm sure I've seen a page showing the month and year the M38s were made by the serial number, but now I can't find it anywhere. I'd sure appreciate it if someone would tell me where it is. Thanks.

As a common rule any data files are usually found on the "Downloads" page.

Caution: only the year is given in the database and on the serial plates for Sep thru Dec 1950 and Jan thru Apr 1951. Also if your serial falls before the first one in a month and the last one in a previous month then you cannot be sure which of the 2 months your jeep was built in. This holds true for the 2 years 1950 & 1951. If your serial falls between the last serial listed for Dec anf the first serial listed for JAN then again you cannot be shure if you have a Dec 50 or JAN 51 jeep!
