M38 fuel shut off

Post by Scott21 »

My 52 M38 does not have a fuel shut off. Is there a modern alternative that looks correct?

This info will get you started. Google brass fuel shutoff valves and look for one that resembles the original and has 1/8" Pipe ends.

Try NAPA or a hydraulic and hose type shop. I got a McMaster-Carr or Eaton/Weatherhead product that is similar and does the trick. It's location is difficult to see so most won't judge you on it. Good luck!

Thanks, Wes, I have been looking for a close match since February. The chart will be a help when I put it together.

Thank you for your response.

Eades, that does make sense, it's out of the way.
