I was able to come up with parts to help with Wade's crusty 4006AUT.
I hope he will find time to document his dizzy rebuild for the benefit of others..

So I have been working quite a bit on my jeep lately. I have the frame all ready to prime, which I will either do tomorrow or the next day, and then I will need to paint it. Where should I get paint? I would like to get paint that is as close to the original color that it would have been painted.

There are many posts here regarding paint. Take a venture and look. Myself, I went with GCI 23070 thru Rapco.

So the front hubs are all reassembled. And the wheel cylinders replaced. But on the Passenger side, I am missing the three screws that hold the brake drum on. Does anyone know where I might be able to find those? I have looked and cant find them, maybe I am typing in the wrong words in the search. Anyway help would be much appreciated.

They are on page 254 of your ORD 9. The early 3/8" length was superseded by a later 11/16" length.

I'd go with the phillips head 5/8" length:

No. That applies to the lug nuts and their studs.

My frame, transmission, transfer case, axles, and other such chassis parts are almost ready for priming and painting. Hopefully do that today.
Also Where is the best place to get a complete 24 volt wiring harness? I have been looking at kaiser willys.

Hi Wade,
Definitely shop around.

I'd check with Midwest Military, Vintage Wiring, RjFutzpatrick, Army Jeep Parts, Brent Mullins. There is a guy selling them on eBay.

Be prepared to part with 750-1000 and decide if you want turn signals
wired in. Also make sure you get the generator/regulator cable and the
regulator/ignition switch harness. They should be included but ask.

Or you could build your own and save some money if you are inclined.

Well, last night we put some od green to the frame. So now once that is completely fry, we can put brake lines on, and then put the engine in, adjust brakes, and drive it around as a frame. :D

Hey Wade, I'll be meeting up with Bretto in Orem end of Sept, I'll get him to drag me by your place so we can get together. Rick.
