April. I hope you see this in time. A rare opportunity for a real nice body and not that far from you.
Not mine.

I bid on it. I leave Sunday for two weeks school in CT. If I win it, I’d have to get it Saturday or in two weeks when I get back.
Thanks for the heads up!

Some reason I got the bright idea to take the jeep off the trailer- oh yeah- in case i win the body on evilbay I will need to load it on something.
Did this all by myself- remember- no brakes!
drove it in first gear (found out what i thought was 1st was actually reverse- but rookie here)
It barely fit in the gate I built. It had 2 inches on each side to fit through without rubbing. It made it!
(all images that were attached became corrupted on postimage and were lost- Sorry about that)
Really hope i get that body off ebay.

Make sure your bid is what you are willing to pay for it. If you only bid the opening bid someone may snipe you in the last five seconds. Keep in mind a repo body is 2500~2900 dollars, and that is just the tub. Then you have a ton of work making those substandard (IMO) bodies fit right. Id pay that much for that body on eBay if it was closer, in a midget minute!
That body is for an earlier jeep than yours, but the differences don't matter. It had the data plates individually mounted as opposed to all being first mounted to a operate plate, then that plate would mount with just 4 screws to the dash. Easy fix.
What we can't see is the front of the fire wall to see which of the two early versions it is. But again, doesn't matter.
Good luck!

I put my bid in to what i could spare. I am leaving in a few days to go to CT for mandatory ediquiette school.... we call it fork and knife school...
i have to drive up there, pay for the barracks, pay for my dog sitting, pay for food, new uniform purchase while i am up there, and drive back. for two weeks....
I can afford 1K at this point but thats it. I am car payment free in 14 days.
that frees up 300 a month after that for jeep stuff and savings.
It is what it is.....

The eBay posting at my limit and I’m not so sure I’m willing to stretch that. Guess I’ll get better at welding patch panels in mine.

Making that last payment is always a great feeling, isn't it?

Never mind what I just said - once you get the Jeep bug, kiss it (the money that is) all goodbye!

They put the names backwards or who knows what. Cause neither of those are my eBay ,,, mine would be the y***u.... cause that’s how my bid history shows.

went to tractor supply and picked up a 10x10 shelter logic shed in a box and built it today. I parked the jeep inside it and it fit barely bumper to bumper. plenty of room on the sides to walk next to it, but just not in front and rear. I didn't want to go bigger than that because i plan to use this shelter as a makeshift paint booth in the summer when I get home from my patrol.
Last night while in a sleepy state- I ordered my suspension kit and a brake overhaul kit and new rubber brake hoses, new brake line materials. Picked up a small benchtop sandblast cabinet, and a parts washer. I had been waiting on them for a long time, and it just was time to pull the trigger.
don't think I will get around to doing that work till I return in the summer. I only have a few weeks till I leave. I do plan on doing a thorough look at the body the next few days and determining if I really can put some patches in or if i need a new body. I am okay at welding, so maybe it just may take more time. Doesn't mean it cant be done though.
I spent the last two weeks in CT at the Coast Guard academy for training. Got to hold the only Medal of Honor earned by a Coast Guardsman.
