I've worked around U.S.A. electricity for north of 50 years and have never heard of Marrette. Wire nuts? Yup. All day long.

Marrette seems to be Canadian and a trade name for wire nut. Might have to get close to the (closed) border to find anybody calling them that?

Am glad the riddle is solved, thanks. I suspected it might be Canada speak given your location but the misspelling confounded it. My first guess was that it might be a cousin to the Loonie. :lol:

The guys in Calgary I hung out with for a while called a Crescent adjustable wrench a Cressley.
