Wes, I was thinking just change out the connector and your good to go. Perhaps you see something else? I have Navy Supply Officer looking into what plugs into these. I know the windshield defroster has been mentioned but I have not seen one with the plug. Someone mentioned a heater. I have seen MRE heaters with what looks like the right plug. Just keeping busy researching... 80)

The rubber Packard terminal/connector on the new receptacle will have to be replaced with a correct metal Douglas terminal/connector to connect to the circuit breaker at the cowl battery box. The power in lead looks too short on the Ebay receptacle as well.

Hi Wes,
What dash hole would the power cable pass through? The one right above is the speedo, and one directly below is the regulator cable.

Brian, It joins the harness with the #8, #9, #10 and #12 wires.
8 & 9 amp meter
10 Reg power
12 Ignition
Mat, Since you have an APR 52 M38 MC63326, you should not even have a an aux power receptacle. They were phased out at DEC 51 after MC47771.
