Pretty funny Wes!

Custom work yes. But I have seem much worse custom work.
At least the guy kept it clean and neat.

The front frame parts are available for the CJ. Don't know about
the boxed in M parts.

Just as Bretto did, I tried to find a way to link his Drop Box photos but it's a password site and requires a password to access them. Had he posted them to a WillysMJeeps member's albums he could have linked them easily to his post.

Great, thats gonna be fun. Thanks though. Also can anyone help me with my bumper identification. I think it says CONG 947M and Its hard to tell on the other side. I can't figure out what CONG means.

Once you get the added on medal off, you can see just what all you are going to need to make repairs. Form the pictures it looks like most of what you need is there. If its enough to work with is yet to be determined!!

There looks to be a space between the CO and NG---so my best guess would be it stands for Colorado National Guard. the M at the end of the number could be for Maintenance. I would try google and see what comes up. I know someone better versed with military markings should speak up soon. However; it is rather cool to figure out how a possible Colorado NG M38 got to Utah!!

I was going to joke about the Congo or maybe the VC
got the thing.

Then it occurred to me. Doesn't match any of the conventional
Army markings I've seen.

So, Connecticut National Guard 947th Mechanized?

My mistake. Connecticut is of course CT.

CO is Colorado.

No sure things yet. Just things to look up.

947th Clearing Battalion ( Colorado) Federalized for
the Korean War.

But it does feel like a Co Natl Guard jeep.

So how do I remove my radio cable without cutting my frame or the cable? Is there a way I can do that?

If you are referring to this

Disconnect the + 24V end and the ground end of the cables. Remove all clamps. Remove the 4 small screws holding the receptacle in the "L" bracket and thread the wires out.

I put some Deep creek Seafoam into it to try and free it up. Hopefully that helps do something.

Did you make sure to get it down into the cylinders. Last we talked about this I explained how the spark plugs were offset and not direct over the cylinders.
