WTB shifter knob for 12/1950 M38 transmission

Post by radtech »

My 1950 M38 has the same threaded shift rod as pictured in the 1951 ORD9.The knob is thicker than the push on knobs as it has no neck like the push on.The serations are about worn off and I am looking for a NOS or even a little better condition knob.

It is an M38 knob and cane.Apparently at least the first 675 had threaded cane as pictured in ORD9 SNL-G740 1951.A CJ3A knob is not the correct size. You can see a picture of the original knob that I am looking for on G503 site in the M38 forum.I don't know how to post pictures here.
