M38 emergency brake cable routing.

I'm installing the emergency brake cable and I know where the lower clamp goes by the transfer case but I've looked everywhere but I can't find where the other clamp goes on the firewall. I just can't find a picture or diagram of its location. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

it does not go to the firewall it goes to the fender.

further into Wes album is a shot of the engine bay without the engine showing the cable route. It is a bit unclear but still quite legible.

Glad to help. I think we have all looked right at something we were looking for and missed it. I know I do that a lot.
