Last weekend, when I went to start my m38a1 something wrong occurs. My engine blow up, I mean blow up….. with smoke coming up from the oil filler pipe, the engine continue run. I stopped the engine, wait a few minutes install the oil filler tube in position, because the explosion move the oil pipe filled. After that I restarted the engine 2 times more and she run well. My first idea about this is: the gasoline come up from fuel pump to the oil deposit.
What do you think, could be possible?
Somebody hear one case like this?
Where can the fuel pass from fuel pump to the crancase?
Any ideas for help me?

Thanks and regards

A crankcase explosion is a possibility from your description. Yes, gasoline in the oil is a main cause. Its also hard on the engine if that is what you are experiencing. Depending on the fuel pump, you tell us you have, we can answer better.

Use search for "gas in oil", and similar. It has been discussed here.

Gasoline can get in the crankcase and cause an explosion from an excessively rich mixture which can be caused by a stuck carburetor float or needle leaking or using too much choke. There can be other causes, but these are a couple of the most common.
