Replace the shackle insert with a new one!
You cut the old out out and weld in an aftermarket one and presto!
I just did three on my wife's frame.

Pete,

I did this on one of my shakle brackets and have walked several others through this. It is a lot easier than it looks and it saves you from having to cut the large rivets holding the shackle bracket.

Let us know if you need any help.
