Looking for an M38 engine early model as my serial number for my vehicle is 35,227. Would be interested in RMC and MC serial numbered engines.

Update: I was able to locate an M38 motor.

Your serial MC35227 is a Sep 1951 M38. It left Willys with the early M38 engine. The late engine appeared for a very short demonstration run in Jan 1952 SN's MC51887 thru 51988 then was implemented fully into production starting at MC53262 Feb 1952.
