Morning! Thank you for adding me to this forum!
Yesterday I collected my first military vehicle in the shape of a 1951 M38
It’ll be a long road to get her finished but I am looking forward to it.
I’ll add some photos later.[/img]

Welcome aboard. Take a moment to open your profile information page and add a signature element to your postings. Most folks go with their real first name and the year make model of their jeep. Then in the block with your username add at least a state where you are located or even a city & state. This way the personalization of your posts will make the folks reading and replying to it both more comfortable and more helpful especially if they are near your location. Best way to post PICs here on our old web site format is for me to open an album for you on our "Member's Albums" page. Let me know if you wish to have an album. Currently we cannot post photos directly from our computer files to this web site posting pages. Be sure to continue this thread from now with any progress you make with your new project but if you have specific technical questions, wanted items or for sale items then please post those postings on the appropriate page.

Thanks Wes
I have added a signature and info of location etc.
A photo album would be handy - how do I upload to that? I use tapatalk on my other forums - rc tank ones etc for free photo uploading.

Sorry I havn’t had chance to get on my pc the upload photos.
I have found the M38/A1 Facebook group and posted in there.
The jeep is currently in bits and awaiting some assistance to remove the tub and engine.
Probably going to wet send the bonnet to find some markings under the paint.

If MC35492 is your original, correct data plate you have an M38, not an M38A1. Photos will confirm.

To post a photo from your gallery to your post it depends on which web browser you are using how you do it.
I use Chrome and it and most others are done this way:
I used to use Microsoft's Internet explorer, It and a very few use the following method:
