M38 timing advance

Post by gunnerb17 »

What amount of timing advance is best to use with todays fuel? The Jeep seems to run better with more advance then stated in the manual. Is this correct? If so what would you suggest? Thanks in advance

Just 2 or 3 more degrees is enough. Any more when she's hot she'll just be tougher on the starter.
