I have pictures of my main shaft and main gear. It looks like the main shaft needs to be replaced.

Does the main gear need to be replaced? The endside of the main gear feels smooth. There is just one discolored place that still feels smooth.

After checking prices, and they are not too bad; I might as well replace both and be done with it.

Just be cautious when buying new gears from some vendors. Make it clear you want US made gears.

Wes any idea who might have USA made main drive gear and main shaft?
