Joseph weidenhoff, 17-T-5575-50 circuit tester

Hi men "
I just found " brought this wonderfull circuit tester, I am looking for
Imformation, pictures etc of the contents, ie leads accessorys etc that
were originally included in the box, the tester is working (so I was told)
I all so have acquired the plug in test equipment that goes in the engine
bay on to generator leads, regulator etc, I can't work out how to post
Pictures with my topic but have managed to load them in my album so
if any one has time please take a look , the circuit tester is the 17-T-5575-50
Joseph weidenhoff inc, I presume this is the second version as I can find
the 17-T-5575 which only has one volt gauge on the face of it , mine has 2
amps & volts , thanks, hope some on has some imformation

Hello Murray,
I have had a few of those. Nice you were able to locate an adapter lead set as well. Do not feel bad about the missing test leads from the Lo Voltage Test Set. Most of the original leads I have seen were dried up, cracking and shorting out from old age. Use our web site a bit more to learn more about your new test set and how to to use it. It is designed to take power from the vehicle's battery it is testing. Based on your questions the unit did not include the instruction handbook with it. The instruction handbooks were provided by the tester's manufacturer. They are often geared to that manufacturer's product only. So when I suggest scanning any available Low Voltage Test Set instruction handbook to get you started you must proceed carefully until you can locate a Joseph Weidenhoff Inc. PN 1120 test set Operator's Handbook. My photo album

Thank you wes " what would we do " how would we manage with out
chaps like you , a bit like that mobile phone " can we ' or can't we be with out
that phone " I can , but the internet , that's a tough one , I have received new
leads hopefully at wk end I will see if I can adapt them to the set ,it looks
Promising but still like some info on the manuel I looked on the nett can't find very much at all , all I found was the set I brought and a court case against
the U S government (military) about when Joseph weidenhoff inc,
got the contract to make test equipment (some body had there nose put out
of joint) when they lost it to him or something on those lines , plenty
of info pictures of the the older version but not much at all on the
17-T-5575-50 or though on your info pages it's illustrated quite well , the tester and how to use with the test adapters, but I still cauld do with some
pics of the compleat set just to get a idea on the leads etc

Well " after count less hours searching the web I have only come up with
a picture of mine that has found its way on to a Joseph weidenhoff site
with no mention of testers made by his company , a compleat and utter
blank on this one , are me and wes the only people that have seen one
of these low volt testers ? the serial number suggest there were several
made Help"

Hi thanks for that ,I had all ready screen shot that a few days ago of wes album , but other than that there is not a lot on this one ,I have saved
That now on PDFs (stored in my books ) it does give a resonable description
on how to use , perform the most needed test , so yeah thanks again My jeep isent going to be factory standard " as I think and be leave that it can only
be New once" so I have gone for the best N.O.S. parts that I can find and
just gone how it would of been done in service 24 volt , correct parts it's cost a small fortune but still gone over the top to
Good on things like body , painting , etc etc but I want it to last a nother
70 odd years it's the only way , I will allso use him on the farm going to
check stock etc pulling the log trailer when we go logging but treat with a
lot of respect " murray.
