Jeep Tires

Post by Tembek »

Anyone know a good source for M38 tires. I have 7x16 NDTs with the square shoulder and would probably buy the same type. Who has the best prices these days?

Thanks

Anyone else in the Houston area?

I bought my Firestone NDCC's from Performance Plus Tires on fleabay. Their pricing is equal to or the best I've seen, and included prompt free shipping. Mine came out of a warehouse in Tennessee. I'm glad to see the tires are marked "Made in U.S.A.". I bought 2 for my M100 about 2 years ago and the price has gone from $155 to $190 since. Bought one for my spare earlier this year for $190. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere.

The 7.00-16 NDT (Square Shoulder) is a bit cheaper than the NDCC (Round Shoulder) for some reason.

I always thought the M38 came with NDCC's but could be mistaken about it. I'd guess the Army probably used NDT's on them as well during the service life.

Here's the fleabay pricing:

7.00-16 NDCC

Good luck!
