Very nicely done! Where did you find it in 1988?

GREAT LOOKING VEHICLE
Would love to see in a show somewhere. Sure a lot of hours has been put into this one. Takes you back into the past a little before i was born. Have a neighbor that is working on a 1927 or 1929 Dodge i believe now trying to restore. Has the motor running and been driving a little out to the local shows.
Will be sure to show him this.

open cab pickups were the cheapest Model A I think and with the open top they were used and rusted out. This one my dad pieced together from parts of pickups he found out in farmers fields in Kansas during the 1970's.
The pickup looked just like this until Jan 2020 when we started working on it.
I ended up going to the Brookville company to get a reproduction of the back half of the cab as it was mostly rusted away. They make new beds so I did that too as the bed was missing some stuff from rust and was dented badly.
We don't have a paint booth anymore so I had a guy that used to work at the restoration shop I worked at back in the 90's paint it.
I have a guy in Wichita who does a lot of Model A tops lined up in September.
