What year M38A1?
What dimensions are you specifically looking for? Location only? Needing to fabricate the bucket?

I have a 1954 M38A1. I'm not aware of this geometry changing substantially over the production run, but I am not sure.
Edge of panel to center is shown below. I'd appreciate it if someone else could check.
I assume you saved the "bucket" although I am not sure how much you were able to save of the right side panel. The right side panel is formed so that the top surface of the bucket lip / flange sits coplanar with with the top surface of the right side panel.
The actual receptacle housing / "bucket" is a formed/drawn part.

I believe I just read your post on facebook where Vince added some dimensions.
I pieced his three photos together.

For what it's worth, I just checked mine, which has all original panels.
I agree with the photo above...on the right of the photo, it is 1 3/4 inches from the fender seam to the beginning of the indentation.
From the top fender seam to the hole, it looks to be 1 1/2 inches.
