I pulled this from the G503 and thought it was relivant to help others on canvas choices.

Hey Group,
I'm looking for canvas and seats and all things material for my M38 restoration.
I'm considering one of the big three (Beachwood, WeeBee, and NewLife). Wondering if anyone has any recommendations (good bad or otherwise) for any of them.
Price seems to be a wash - all about the same. Anybody got any reasons why I should choose one over the other?
If you have good comments, by all means post up.
If you have bad comments, please email or PM. I don't want this post to turn into a "bashing" session for one or the other of these guys.

My dad just got in some seat cushions from NewLife. They seem sturdy. Haven't checked them for fitment yet, but they look like they'll be fine.
I bought my complete canvas and strap sets from Dave at WeeBee Webbing and have been quite satisfied. If I have to buy anything more, I will go to him first. I have seen Beachwood's displays at Aberdeen and their selection is impressive.

I could not be happier with NewLife

I haven't heard any complaints about Beachwood's products. But cost and shipping are a factor for any of them. Check out willysmjeeps.com for more help and guidance on M38's. We have started a forum page that offers information on product vendors.

52....WeeBee sells only the correct canvas and fasteners, I can't vouch for the others....some is "wet" and some is not....meaning the finish and treatment of it is different. Dave and Donna are a two-person shop and your order will be important to them as a small shop business has to be.
Great service, the correct materials, good people who will worke with you if you want a special item created.....you can check on prices from the others by getting quotes, and if that is your criteria go with the cheapest....but if you want your canvas to look good two or four years from now, I think WeeBee will be providing the best material and in an original style of mfger.
And Dave is a g503 guy and one of the vendors who is active in helping the MVPA move forward.....
That's as good an endorsement as you can get....
