Iola impressions?

Anyone go to the show? What were your impressions?
I was slightly disappointed. I didn't see any M38s on display and parts were equally as hard to find.
There were a lot of militaria or reenactor dealers, but not as many parts dealers.
Seemed to be a good crowd and a nice people.

I've been to it the last 4 years. Vendor count was about average. Re-enactor activity was half or less than normal. I saw two M38's and photographed one. Saw several A1's a very complete A1C and 170. Most vendors felt the crowd was down in size slightly and buying a lot less than last year.
This was a very original stock M38 except for the 12 volt conversion and carb. Belonged to Gary Wiebold of Rochester MN. SN MC31750. Interesting job on the 50 dash mount. 1st one I'd seen on an M38.

Hello Wesk, I just bought a m38 from Gary . I know he owned 2. I wonder if I bought the one your talking about? However mine was 24volt.

Is the serial MC31750? That's was the 12 volter with the dash mount.

I will check but jeep is at my deer camp. Would the s/n be same number on the title?
