M38 Windshield Question: Grab Handle Standard?

Wes/Ryan, (& anyone else that may know) how standard was short grab handle on the passenger side of the M38 windshield? Dad & I made significant progress over Thanksgiving, getting the grill, fenders, hood & windshield blasted, & I'll admit I never noticed the grab handle until we installed it this afternoon. It has the bracket on the driver's side for the rifle sheath; was there a corresponding bracket on the passenger side, or does the grab handle interfere with it?

I am not sure what you are calling the grab handle. Could you post a photo for clarification.
