this doesn't seem to work. I have a pic of Beetle Bailey in my gallery with the required dimensions. At least I think it is correct. but it won't load to the avatar. I've tried other pics from my computer and none work.

Ken:
Try this:
Go to -- Your Account
Change Info
Avatar Control Panel (bottom of page)
Link to off-site Avatar
then COPY the URL of the avatar picture in your photo gallery
into the box
Select "Save Avatar"

That's right Ken, I was goofing with it and got your
Beetle Bailey to come up as my avatar- Of course it's
your's so i'll delete it-(i'll not pirate your's). How do you get a
cartoon or photo or such to meet the required pixel reqmts??
I'd like to try it with my own idea..

Well I tried all of the ways except the off site way, because I figured the the gallery wasn't off site.

Rick, you must use a photo editor to reduce the size of the pic.
I use MGI PhotoSuite program. I tried using the one that came with the Windows 7 but can't do it.
