Does anyone have the measurement differences between the two types of air crossover tubes?
I have an M38A1 tube and want to know if it is useable on an M38.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know the specific dimensions, but I believe the M38A1 used a longer tube and eventually switched to an "I" beam type configuration.

I was given this info about the M38 crossover pipe a couple months ago. The length is approximately 6 & 5/16 inches long

There is a considerable difference between the two, includingthe length, the mounting bracket, and the fitting locations. Bottom line: No, an M38A1 crossover tube won't work correctly on an M38.

Thanks guys for the help.

That is what I was thinking, but wasn't sure as I am not up on all the M38A1 stuff.
