Rotary light switch

Hi all
I’m trying to figure out how to wire my rotary light switch.
It's a MB/GPW made by Douglas mfg co and it was wrapped in a waxed paper
It's brand new but looks like it was made in the 40/50s
The JEEP I have is a CJ3B/M606 -56
Not original rotary light switch but close enough
I’m using
http://webs.lanset.com/buzz/JPSWC.pdf as a reference.
So far I have 2 problems/questions
1. What is a term strip ?? (Don’t understand that word)
2. On the rotary switch there is one more connection than on the push/pull
"BOD" and I have no clue what that is for. Any ideas?
All ideas suggestions are welcome
I'm going to make a "home made" wiring for the JEEP, can't afford to order one from the US.
Shipping, custom fee & VAT is way too much for me.

Niclas,
I haven't given up. I am still trying to find the diagram I once had.
The terminal strip is a row of terminals that allow quick removal and installation of circuits or wires.

Niclas,
sounds like your customs - VAT - importation fees are worse than here in the UK, I figure, what ever it costs in the US, I have to nearly double by the time it gets to the UK.
Good Luck,
Dave

A store dealing in electronic components should have them, I mean parts such as transistors and things of the like. If you know of any amateur radio operators (Ham) they can point you in the correct direction...
While in Germany there were Radio Shack stores there they would carry them, at least here in the states they do...
If you can not find one let me know by email and I will try to help you...
Hope this helps...

BOD = Black Out Drive This position on the switch would normally power up the driving lights necessary for blackout operations. Usually that would include the Blackout Driving lamp on the left fender, the front black out marker lamps, the rear blackout marker lamps and the rear blackout stop lamp.

@OKCM38CDN
Many thx for the offer and help.
Much appreciated.
I will take a look on the web and see if I can find anything
if not ill get back to you.
@Wes
BOD is not a possition on the switch it's screw on the back.
the possitions on the front of the switch are
BO DR
BO MK
Off
STOP LT
HD LTS

Then the wire from that screw should go to the BO driving lamp on the left front fender.
